Two range adjustable, PIR motion sensor, black

The product is an energy-saving automatic motion sensor, it adopts an integrated circuit and precise detecting components. This sensor uses passive infrared technology to detect heat radiation of moving the human body. It can be on when someone comes and will off automatically after someone leaves. It can identify day and night automatically. Its performance is very stable. The light will turn on automatically when one enters the detection field; the light will turn off after one leaves the detection field.

- Can identify day and night automatically. Light-control can be adjusted. It will work at night and stop in the daytime.
- The time delay can be adjusted vary to the place.
- The light-time can be added automatically. When one moves in the detection field when the lamp is lighting, it can compute time once more and delay the light -time automatically after the sensor detects signals once again.

Three ranges of adjustment: working time, light intensity.

Specifications:
Operating voltage: 220-240V/AC

Suitable for new and existing installations

INSTALLATION:
• disconnect the power supply;
• loosen the screw and remove the cover. Fix the sensor in the selected position with rawlplugs (Fig.1);
• connect the cables according to the diagram in Fig. 2;
• attach the cover, switch on the power supply and perform the sensor test.
SENSOR TEST:
• Set the time (TIME) to the minimum and sensitivity to light (LUX) to the maximum if the test is carried out in daytime - Fig. 3,
• after switching on the power supply, the device needs 30 seconds to enter the operation mode,
• the light the sensor is connected to should light after detecting a motion in the sensor operation field,
• detecting another motion during the lamp operation extends the period of operation,
• by changing the settings of LUX and TIME we can adapt the sensor operation to individual requirements.

COMMENTS
• Connect electric cables according to the instructions and effective standards.
• The installation should be made by an authorised electrician.
• Prior to connecting the device, make sure that the main power supply has been switched off.
• Do not install the sensor neither near sources of heat, air-conditioning outlets, flue gas pass or dryers, nor during rainfall,
• The sensor is more efficient if the object supposed to activate the lighting device moves across the sensor operation field, whereas it is less efficient when the object moves towards or backwards from the sensor.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If the lamp connected to the sensor does not work:
• check whether electrical connections are correct,
• check whether the lamp is in a good working condition,
• check whether LUX settings correspond with the lighting conditions.
If the coverage/ sensitivity is too poor:
• check whether there are no obstacles in the sensor operation field,
• check whether the ambient temperature is not too high (it reduces the sensor efficiency),
• check whether the object moves in the sensor operation field,
• check whether the sensor is installed at an appropriate height,
• the sensor is less efficient when the object moves towards or backwards from the sensor.
The sensor does not switch off the connected lamp automatically:
• check whether there is no continuous movement in the sensor operation field,
• check whether the sensor is not set to the longest operation time (TIME),
• check whether the power of the connected lamp does not exceed the maximum sensor load,
• check whether the sensor is not installed near sources of heat.
WEEE label signifes the necessity of selective collection of waste electric and electronic equipment. The products thus marked must not be disposed of to the standard waste bins together with other types of waste. Such products may be environmentally harmful and require special forms of processing, recovery, recycling and neutralization.
